Man on a Orion bus wearing a gas mask. (grin)        Fumes on STAR Buses

8/05

Finally, this seems to be getting better.

Fumes on some of the old STAR buses can sometimes get pretty bad!  Please remember to get the bus number and report any bus that isn't working properly.

If you run into a STAR bus that had fumes so bad that it's making you ill, please ask the driver to stop and call a supervisor. Insist! If you have a cell phone, call it in yourself, especially if the driver refuses!  Please make sure to speak up or call us from the BUS if you have a problem like this. Remember to use your cell phone if you have one! Keep our number with you.  If nothing else, please report the bus number to Marsha Chase so that it can be repaired.

UPDATE:  We have news that CDTA will FINALLY be getting rid of these old buses this Spring Summer Fall? (We keep hearing the time moved up.)  When we know more, we'll let you know!
