Age 60 and over SSA's Transportation Services can take you where you want to go! If you live in the City of Albany and are 60 or over, call and our Senior Commuter Service will pick you up from your home and take you to and from ANY business in the city; including our Senior Centers, the grocery store, a restaurant, the movies, to a loved one's home - practically anywhere! Available between 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our Medical Express can take you to your doctor's office, clinic, pharmacy, or any medically-related appointment within the City of Albany. Medical vans run each half hour between 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and each half hour between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. LAST CALL for pick up is 3:30 p.m. for your return trip. Call 1-866-208-7357 (toll free) for all reservations or cancellations. When your appointment is completed and you are ready for pick-up, call SSA's Transportation Department directly at 518-434-4219 to arrange the return trip.
