Amtrak's website has a lot of information for rail travelers. Please make sure to check these out.

If you have a PCA, they may not have to pay for a ticket.  Please call AMTRAK or check out their website for information! This must be arranged in advance and you will have to have proof.

Did you request reasonable accommodations from an Amtrak and not receive them?  A reasonable accommodation would be pre-boarding, notations that you carry oxygen or other medical equipment with you, that you have a service animal or that you have a mobility device and require accessible seating and placement of your mobility aid in the car with you.  It also includes assistance with boarding and deboarding, a request for a high platform where a short ramp is placed instead of a wheelchair lift and assistance in navigating any tight turns with a mobility device.

Was the rest room accessible?

Did you get seated in the seats in front for people with disabilities?

Did your mobility device fit onto the train and was it able to make the turn from the entry area (vestibule) into the train seating area?

Did the red caps offer assistance to you with boarding?
